"S has Ataxic Cerebral Palsy with Speech and Learning Disabilities... (she) absolutely loves and adores [carriage driving]. It is a huge part of her life and she would be devastated if she could no longer go to her lessons or her indoor competitions. S did really well at Keysoe British Indoor Championships and really deserved all the praise and encouragement as she puts in so much hard work and dedication to a sport, people and horses she loves so very, very much.
S's relationship she has with Strawbs is amazing... [she] thinks of her as her pony. We would not be able to own or support a pony which is why SDU and Chariots of Fire means so much to our family. S's dad goes one day a week as a volunteer... as a thank you for all that they do for Sarah because without their support and funding Sarah and others like
Sarah, would not be able to participate in competitive sport"
